The Pledge 360 page brings together everything tied to a pledge: what the donor promised, what they have paid, the payment schedule, and each gift created from that schedule. Use this page to review a pledge’s status and payment history.
Before You Begin
Prerequisites
- You need access to Pledges in the Fundraising Console.
Open a Pledge
- Go to Fundraising & Gifts › Pledges, then search for the pledge you want or choose one from Recently Viewed Pledges.
- Select the pledge's Date in the results.
Result
The Pledge 360 page opens with the donor summary, pledged amount, fund, and date. Four tiles summarize Amount Outstanding, Remaining # of Payments, Next Payment Date, and Status. If the pledge is flagged anonymous, a blue banner appears.
Tip
Each pledge you open this way is added to your recently viewed items, so you can return to it later without searching again.
Read the Tabs
- Details — shows the pledge's fund, campaign, appeal, amount, master gift, premium, order, giving process, tribute, notes, and payment timing, including its installment plan.
- Installments — shows the payment schedule when the pledge's order has one, including each installment's date, amount, and status.
- Financials — shows the invoices and payments behind the pledge's order.
- Splits — shows any other funds that received part of this pledge's amount.
- Soft Credits — shows other donors credited for part of the pledge.
- Linked Gifts — shows every gift created from the pledge's payments, usually one "pledge payment" gift for each payment received and one "pledge payment reversal" gift for each refund. :::
Tip
Each tab label shows a count when it has rows, such as Linked Gifts (3). Empty tabs show only the tab label.
Check What's Been Paid
Use the Amount Outstanding tile at the top for the quickest view of what remains to collect. For the full paper trail, open the Financials tab to review payments and invoices, or open the Linked Gifts tab to see the gift created by each payment.
Warning
The Financials tab can show an installment invoice before the installment billing run has finished generating its amount. Do not treat every visible invoice as ready to pay. If a donor cannot pay an installment invoice that just appeared, check whether that billing run has completed before troubleshooting further.
If It Fails
- "Unable to load pledge." The page could not load the pledge or one of its related records, such as its order, contact, or organization. Try again, or return to the pledges list and reopen it.
- The Installments tab appears empty or missing. This tab shows content only when the pledge's order has a payment schedule. A pledge with no order will not have meaningful installment data here.
- The pledge's figures look out of date. Amounts update as payments and refunds are processed in the background. If you just recorded a payment elsewhere, wait a moment and refresh the page.
- A pledge payment attempt fails and the cause isn't obvious. If one-time and recurring donations are otherwise processing fine, check the payment gateway's error details for that attempt. They can show a more specific cause than the Pledge 360 page shows.
