Use this page to find a campaign in your Rhythm account, open its record to review or change it, or permanently delete a campaign you no longer need.
Finding a Campaign
Prerequisites
You need permission to access the Campaigns section.
- Go to Fundraising & Gifts › Campaigns.
- Enter any combination of Name:, Start Date:, End Date:, Goal:, and ID:, then select Search.
- Select a campaign's name in the results to open its record page.
Tip
Goal: and ID: appear as search options, but they do not reliably narrow results today. If a search using either field does not behave as expected, search by Name: or a date range instead.
The Active Campaigns and Inactive Campaigns figures at the top of the page show how many campaigns your Rhythm account has in each status. Search results show only the first batch of matches Rhythm finds, so if you have many campaigns and do not see the one you need, narrow your search terms instead of assuming it is not there.
Opening a Campaign
Select a campaign's name from the search results, or from the recently viewed list beside them, to open the Campaign 360 page. This is the campaign's record page, where you review its progress, manage its appeals, edit it, or delete it.
Deleting a Campaign
- Open the campaign's record page.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm that you want to delete it.
Warning
Deleting a campaign also deletes every appeal that belongs to it in the same action, and you cannot undo it. The confirmation dialog does not mention the appeals, so check the Appeals tab first if you want to know what else will be removed.
What Can Stop the Delete
- The campaign, or one of its appeals, is still named by a giving process, a recurring gift, or a Fundraising setting. Rhythm refuses the entire delete. Remove or repoint those references first.
- You don't hold the delete permission. The Delete button still appears without this permission, but selecting it shows an access-denied message instead of the usual delete confirmation.
Why You Might Not See the Campaigns Section at All
Access to the Campaigns section uses a separate permission from the delete permission described above. If you cannot see Campaigns under Fundraising & Gifts, ask an administrator to check your Fundraising permissions.
