You can download a spreadsheet of a space's reviewers and their scores from the review dashboard. Use this export when you need review data in a spreadsheet tool without building a query.
When to Use This
Use this export when you need every reviewer's criterion scores outside Rhythm for a space, or for a round, bucket, team, or reviewer you've drilled into. For example, you might share the file with a committee or calculate rankings your own way.
If you prefer to build a query instead, an abstract-only query gives you abstract-level fields, such as average score, but not reviewer-specific detail. For per-reviewer data, including reviewer name, score, and recommendation alongside the abstract's own fields, use the Abstracts > Reviews query. A Reviews query still gives you one overall score per reviewer, not a separate field for each scoring criterion, so this spreadsheet export is the more direct way to get one column per criterion.
Prerequisites
- You need access to the review dashboard for the space.
Download the Spreadsheet
- Open the space, then go to Reviews. This opens the review dashboard.
- Optionally, select a count on the dashboard to drill into rows for a specific round, bucket, team, or reviewer.
- Select Download.
Result
The button changes to Downloading... while Rhythm builds the file, and then your browser opens the file's address. The file includes one row for each reviewer, with one column for each criterion's score. It also includes the submission's name and owner, plus the reviewer's notes.
If you download from a drill-in view, the file uses the same status, reviewer, round, and bucket you drilled into. If you download from the main dashboard without drilling in first, the file includes the full, unfiltered reviewer list for the space, limited to submissions with a submitted status.
Rhythm builds the file's columns from the first reviewer's row. If a field is empty on that first row, Rhythm leaves that column out of the file entirely, even when a later row has a value for it. Each export is built when you download it, so download again after new reviews come in to get an up-to-date file instead of a cached one.
Warning
The file downloads as a link instead of opening as a page inside Rhythm. Treat it like any other exported file because it can include reviewer names, submission owners, scores, and notes. Do not post the link anywhere that data should not be seen.
If Nothing Comes Back
When there is nothing to export, Rhythm stops the download and tells you there are no reviewers or reviews to download instead of creating an empty file. This happens when no reviewers or reviews match what you're downloading. If you see this:
- Check whether you drilled into a status, round, bucket, or reviewer that genuinely has nothing in it.
- Check that the space has reviewers assigned. A space with no review settings or no assignments yet has nothing to export.
