Whether you’re returning to a space you used yesterday or opening one for the first time, Rhythm gives you two quick options: your recently opened spaces and search.
When to Use This
Use this when you need to open a specific space and do not already have a link to it.
Prerequisites
- You need permission to view the Submissions Console, and you need permission to view a space before you can open it.
Open the Spaces List
- Open the Submissions Console. Depending on how your account is set up, go to Spaces in the left menu, or stay on the overview if it already shows the spaces list.
Result
You see spaces you opened recently, plus a search box you can use to find any space by name, type, status, or ID.
If you are not sure where your account shows the spaces list, see View the Submissions Dashboard, which explains what the Submissions overview can show.
Return to a Space You Opened Recently
- On the spaces list, look under recently viewed spaces.
- Select the space you want.
Result
The space opens directly to its submissions.
Rhythm adds a space to recently viewed only when you open it from the space’s home page. If you open a deeper page inside a space without going through the space home page first, Rhythm does not add it to this list. If you have more than a few recent spaces, use the filter box to narrow the list by name.
Search for a Space
- On the spaces list, use any of these fields:
- Name: matches the text you type, regardless of case.
- Type: choose one kind of space, such as Abstract, Award Application, Certification Application, Membership Application, Accreditation Report, or Portal Form.
- Status: choose one or more statuses, such as Open, Closed, or Draft.
- ID: enter one or more space identifiers, separated by a comma or a new line.
- Select Search.
Result
Matching spaces appear in a results table with columns for Name, Type, and Status. Select any column heading to sort by it, or select a space’s name to open it directly to its submissions.
Rhythm remembers your search criteria in your browser. The next time you open the spaces list, the same fields are pre-filled, and the same results stay in place if you had any, until you search again or refine your criteria.
