After you submit a form, you can come back to check its status, review what you sent, or edit or delete it when changes are still allowed.

Before You Begin

Prerequisites

  • You must be signed in with a linked contact record.
  • If the space collects submissions from organizations, you need a linked organization to see those submissions. Without one, the list is empty even if your organization has submitted.

Browse Your Online Forms

  1. Go to Browse Online Forms.
  2. Select the card for the space you want.

Result

The space page opens and shows its description, if it has one. Below the description, a card named My plus the space’s plural submission name lists submissions from newest to oldest. In an individual space, you see your own submissions. In an organization space, you see your organization’s submissions.

Open One of Your Submissions

  1. On the space's page, find the submission by its date or name.
  2. Select its name.

Result

The submission opens in read-only view. If the association still allows changes, you also see Edit and Delete buttons. See Edit or Delete Your Submission in the Portal for what those buttons do and when they disappear.

Tip

The Submit button stays on the space page even after you are no longer eligible to submit. If you have reached the space’s submission limit or the submission window has closed, Rhythm tells you only after you try to submit and the submission is refused. The same is true when a space has an end date: you can open the form and work in it until you try to submit, and then Rhythm tells you the window has closed.

Uploaded files, such as CVs or photos attached to a submission, open and download one at a time from that submission’s page. You cannot download all uploaded files at once, so plan to download each file individually if you have files across multiple submissions.

Warning

In some cases, an attached file download opens an error page instead of the file, especially when the submission page has been open for a while before you select the link. This issue is intermittent and does not happen on every submission. If the download fails, reload the submission page and try again. If it still will not download, ask the submitter to send the file directly while you sort out the download issue.

Why Your Submission List Might Be Hidden

If a space requires a specific organization role and you do not have that role, Rhythm hides both the submission list and the Submit button. You see the same message if you have no linked organization, even in a space that otherwise collects submissions from individuals. The page tells you that you need the appropriate organization role and should contact your organization’s administrator. The rest of the page, including the space’s description, still appears normally.

If the list is empty and you do not see that message, you have not submitted to this space yet. In an organization space, an empty list means nobody in your organization has submitted yet.

Responding to an Abstract Approval

If your abstract was approved as a presentation, you receive an approval email. Log into the microsite, select Abstracts in the menu, then open Abstract Center to accept or decline presenting.

Warning

The Abstract Center only offers Accepted by Presenter or Declined by Presenter. There is no separate status for attending only as an attendee instead of presenting. After you choose one, you cannot change your own answer again from the Portal. If your plans change after you respond, contact the association’s staff so they can update your status directly.

Depending on how a submission’s review form is set up, some portal-facing review pages show only the portal information and leave out review details and the overall recommendation. This is more common in transmittal-style setups, where the review content itself is not meant to appear there.
