Publish, Revert, and Repair Published Assets

• Publishing an Asset

Custom components, stylesheets, scripts, and other assets in your Portals asset library work like pages. You edit the working copy, and your sites use the published copy after you publish it. Use this article to publish an asset, discard unpublished changes, or rebuild the asset map when a site does not show what you published.

Prerequisites

• You need the Portals Day-to-Day User Access or Portals Administrator policy to publish or revert an asset.
• You need the Portals Administrator policy to rebuild the asset map.

3. Select Publish Changes. :::

Result

1. Open the asset.
2. Select Revert to Published Version.
3. Confirm the warning. You cannot undo this action.

Warning

1. Go to Setup › Maintenance.
2. Select Rebuild Asset Map.
3. Confirm the warning.
