Site settings apply to every page on one site. They include the browser-tab title, favicon, Google Analytics setup, and currency. This article shows you how to open or create site settings and explains the Branding, Google Analytics, and currency fields.
Prerequisites
- To change site settings, you need the Portals Day-to-Day User Access or Portals Administrator policy.
Opening a Site's Settings
See Getting Around the Console for a Portals overview of the current-account name, side menu, and top bar around this screen. Go to Portals & Microsites › Site Settings. This screen always shows the settings for your current site, which is named at the top right of the Console next to (change). Rhythm does not show a list of settings for every site, so switch your current site before you edit another site's settings.
Warning
When you switch sites with (change), Rhythm reloads the whole browser window. Save your changes before you switch, because unsaved changes on this screen are lost without a prompt.
When you open this screen for a site that does not have settings yet, Rhythm starts with defaults instead of a blank form. The site title uses your organization's name, and the site logo uses your organization's logo. You cannot see or change the logo on this screen right now, but Rhythm saves it with your first save. To change your organization's logo, use the Home app's System Administration area if you have access. If that option is not available to you, Rhythm support can upload the new logo for you.
Saving Publishes Immediately
Warning
Saving site settings publishes them immediately.
Branding
On the Branding tab:
| Field | What it does |
|---|
Google Analytics
On the Google Analytics tab, check Enable Google Analytics Integration and enter a Google Analytics Tracking ID to measure visits in your own Google Analytics property.
Warning
This site-wide switch tracks every page on the site. If you only need Google Analytics on specific pages, add a Google Analytics component to those pages individually instead of enabling it here. Tracking placed in a template or another shared asset applies to every page that uses it, while tracking placed on one page tracks only that page.
Currency
On the Page & Menu Defaults tab:
| Field | What it does |
|---|
