Your giving history brings together everything you’ve given through your organization, including one-time gifts, pledges, and recurring gifts, with a running total and your most recent gift.
Prerequisites
- You need to be signed in to the Portal, and your account must be linked to a contact record. If you’re not sure where to find your giving history page, ask your organization. Rhythm does not put it in a fixed place, so each organization adds the link where it makes sense on its own Portal.
View Your Giving History
- Open your giving history page on the Portal.
- Review the summary:
Donor:shows your name,Total Gifts:appears only when every listed gift uses the same currency, andLast Gift:shows the amount, date, and how long ago you gave. - Review the
Giftstable, plus thePledgesandRecurring Giftstables when you have any.
Result
Each table lists your records and shows a magnifier icon on every row. Select it to open that gift, pledge, or recurring gift and see the full details.
Tip
This page shows only your most recent gifts, pledges, and recurring gifts: up to 100 of each, with the newest records first. You cannot page farther back from this screen, so ask the organization for a fuller history if you need older records that are not shown.
See Your Organization's Giving Instead
If your contact is linked to an organization, you’ll see a switch above the tables that lets you choose between My Giving History and My Organization's Giving History. The organization view shows every gift, pledge, and recurring gift made under that organization, not just the ones you personally made. Any member linked to that organization can see the same full giving history, and no separate role within the organization is required.
Open One Gift
- In the
Giftstable, select the magnifier icon on a row. - Review
Gift #,Donor:,Date:,Type:,Amount:, andFund:. If the gift was made in tribute, you’ll also see the tribute details. - Select
Back to Giving Historyto return, or selectResend Receiptif you need another copy of the receipt. See Resend a Gift Receipt.
Warning
Your giving history is read-only. You cannot edit, delete, or otherwise change a gift from the Portal. Soft credit you received from someone else’s gift is not shown here at all; only gifts recorded directly to you or your organization appear.
Give Again
Select Make a Donation above the tables to start a new gift.
If It Fails
If your giving history does not load, you’ll see Unable to list gifts. Reloading the page usually clears this up; if it does not, contact the organization. If you try to open a gift, pledge, or recurring gift that does not belong to you or your organization, the Portal will not open it. The Portal only shows your own giving or the giving of an organization you’re linked to.
