A booth is a numbered space on an event show floor that you can sell or assign to an exhibitor. You can create booths one at a time, or generate up to 250 at once when you need many identical booths with different numbers.
Prerequisites
- Permission to manage the event's exhibitors and booths.
- At least one show floor must already exist for the event.
- At least one booth type must already be set up for your account.
- A booth fee is recommended before you create booths, though you can save a booth without one.
Create a Single Booth
- Go to Meetings & Shows › Events › (the event) › Setup › Exhibitors › Booths, and select Create Booth.
- Enter the booth's Number. As you type, Rhythm automatically names the booth "Booth #<number>" unless you have already entered your own name.
- Choose the booth's Status, Type, Floor, and Fee.
- If the booth should already be on hold for an organization or reserved for an exhibitor, enter the matching holder information.
- Add a description if you want one, then save.
Result
Rhythm adds the booth to the show floor's inventory, where it is ready to be sold or assigned to an exhibitor.
Tip
Rhythm remembers the type, floor, and fee you last chose for this event in this browser, so you do not have to reselect the same values for each booth.
Generate Many Booths at Once
- From the booths list, select Create Multiple Booths.
- Enter the number of booths to generate, and enter the Starting Number for the first booth.
- Choose the Type, Floor, and Fee that every booth in this batch will share.
- Add a shared description if you want every generated booth to use the same one.
- Select Generate Booths.
Result
Rhythm creates that many booths, numbered consecutively from the starting number you entered. Each booth is named "Booth #<number>" and is available for exhibitors.
Warning
You can generate at most 250 booths in a single run. If you ask for more, Rhythm refuses the request before creating any booths. If an existing booth already uses a number in your requested range, only that booth fails, and Rhythm still creates every other booth in the run. Rhythm tells you how many booths could not be created and gives the reason for the first failure, but it does not list the specific numbers that failed. Check the booths list afterward to find the gap. If you run the same batch again, Rhythm tries every number again, so numbers that already succeeded fail as duplicates while any real gaps are filled.
