Your association’s course directory lets you search upcoming courses and open an offering to review details, instructors, and registration options. You can browse courses without signing in, but you need to sign in before you register.
Search Course Offerings
- Open the course directory page in the Portal, often from Browse Courses on your My Courses page.
- Narrow the results with Program:, Course:, Type:, Delivery:, Starts After:, and Country:. Leave any filter at its default to include everything for that filter.
- Choose Search for Training Courses.

You see a table of matching offerings. Each row shows the course name, delivery type, short description, date or On Demand, location, and a Register Now button.
Tip
Your association may set this page to show only certain programs, course types, or courses, so your search options may already be narrowed. The page’s address can also narrow the results; for example, a link you followed may already include a program, course type, or course selection. When more than one is included, those selections can appear as a comma-separated list.
Use Delivery: to find courses by format: in person, virtual, or on demand. On-demand offerings show On Demand instead of a date range because they are not tied to specific dates. Once you start registration, on-demand offerings have also been reported not to show upcoming dates the way virtual or in-person offerings do, so check with the association if you need a specific date.
Results are listed alphabetically by course name, and you can’t reorder them or pin a course to the top. Fields like Delivery: and Country: are part of how this page is built, so they can’t be hidden from the search or results. If you filter by Program: and don’t find an offering you expect, try filtering by Course: instead because a mismatch between the two has been reported for some offerings.
View an Offering and Register
- Choose the course name in a results row, or open the offering’s page directly.
- Review the dates, delivery method, location, description, and instructor details. In some course directories, the full course description appears only after you open a specific offering, not on the initial listing.
- If you’re signed in and eligible, choose the registration button that matches how you want to register.
An offering page shows a fixed delivery method description, such as in person, virtual, or on demand. You can’t edit that wording yourself, so contact the association if it looks wrong. An offering can also show an "About the Instructor" section when no instructor is assigned, in which case the section is empty.
You can filter courses by type, including webinars, but the directory’s labels and navigation stay course-oriented. There isn’t a built-in way to rename that terminology or add a separate webinar-only page or tab.

You’re taken to the registration process for that offering, where you complete the registration form and pay.
Why You Might Not See a Registration Button
Registration buttons appear only when you’re signed in, so anonymous visitors can view offering details but can’t register from that page. After you sign in, you see one button for each registration process you’re currently eligible for. You may see no buttons if no process applies to you or if the page is still loading.
If Something Goes Wrong
| What you see | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
Loading course information... never finishes | The offering, or something it needs, such as its instructors, failed to load. Reload the page, and contact Support if it keeps happening. |
No courses were found matching your search criteria. | Nothing matches your filters. Try widening your search, for example by clearing Starts After: or Country:. |
| No Register Now style button appears on an offering | Sign in if you haven’t, or confirm that you’re eligible for one of the offering’s registration processes. |
| You think you already registered, but the offering still offers to register you again | The already-registered check does not always catch every registration. Check your own registrations list before registering a second time. |
| Choosing a course name doesn't open the offering's details page | Contact the association because the page that lists offerings may need to be set up to link to the right details page. |
| Offerings you expect to see are missing, but only for you — others can see them fine | Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, using a different browser or device, checking your popup blocker, making sure your browser is up to date, and checking for network restrictions before assuming a course or offering setting has changed. |
