After you report a continuing-education activity, or earn a credit another way, you can review it in the Portal anytime.
When to Use This
Use this task to review activities you’ve reported, check the credits you hold, and see where a specific credit came from. To report a new activity, use the separate option in your association’s Portal. To print a transcript of your credits, see Print Your Credit Transcript.
Prerequisites
- You’re signed in to the Portal with a linked contact record.
View Your Activities
- Open your My Activities page in the Portal.
Result
Rhythm lists each activity you’ve reported with its date, name, type, claimed credits, and status. If you haven’t reported any activities yet, you’ll see a message inviting you to log your first one.
Select an activity’s name to open it.
Result
The activity details open with its name, type, status, date, quantity when there is more than one, any file you attached, the date it was last processed, and any additional details you entered. The Date is when the activity was logged or processed, not necessarily an earlier event date. For example, a historical exam date is often kept in a separate field under the additional details rather than in the main Date field. Below the details, a table lists the credits the activity produced. If no credits are linked to the activity, you’ll see a message instead. Staff can also link a credit they record directly to an activity you already logged. When they do, that credit appears in this table alongside the original activity, which stays on your record instead of being replaced.
If an imported activity is missing a field you expected, check the activity’s additional details. Imported fields that aren’t part of the standard activity record are often stored there as custom field values.
Warning
To open a file attached to an activity, use the link Rhythm shows on this page. Don’t copy the file’s underlying address into a link somewhere else in the Portal. That address is an internal service location, not a public URL, and using it directly can cause a routing error instead of downloading the attachment.
Tip
Edit Activity appears on this page only when your association allows Portal editing for this type of activity and the editing window is still open. If you don’t see it, editing is not allowed for this activity type, the window has closed, or the activity has already been verified. The page won’t tell you which reason applies, so contact your association if you need a correction.
View Your Credits
- Open your My Credits page in the Portal.
Result
Rhythm lists your credits with each credit’s date, type, quantity, and status. Credits your association has archived are hidden by default. If you have archived credits, the Show archived credits checkbox appears so you can include them. This list doesn’t total your outstanding or submitted credits. If you’re tracking progress toward a certification’s requirements, check that certification for a progress indicator instead.
Select a credit’s type to open it.
Result
The credit details open with its type, status, date, quantity, and origin — where it came from. Depending on the origin, you also see:
- A note linking to the activity that produced it, if it came from an activity you reported.
- A note linking to the course registration it came from, plus the course’s name, if it came from a course.
- The event’s name, if it came from an event registration.
A credit that came from a legacy system before your association started using Rhythm does not show an additional link.
What You Can See and Do for Someone Else
If your account is set up to act for another contact, such as a family member or someone your organization manages, these same activities and credits pages work for that contact. You’ll see their activities, credits, and origins instead of your own.
What You Can’t Do Here
Searching and Deleting Activities Isn’t Available in the Portal
The Portal does not offer a way to search your activities beyond the list on My Activities, and it does not offer a way to delete an activity you’ve reported. If you need an activity removed, contact your association.
