Redeem a Coupon at Checkout

If the association gives you a coupon code, enter it at checkout when you pay an application fee to receive the discount.

When to Use This

Use this when you have a coupon code and your checkout order includes an application fee.

Prerequisites

You have a valid coupon code from the association.
Your order includes at least one application fee. If the order has no application fee lines, the coupon has nothing to discount.

Result

If the code is valid and active, Rhythm discounts the application fee lines on your order that the coupon covers.

Tip

You can use only one code for a given coupon on an order. If you enter the same coupon’s code a second time, Rhythm refuses the second entry.

A coupon code may not lower your total for one of these reasons:

The coupon has been switched off. Rhythm refuses a code for a coupon the association has deactivated, instead of accepting the code without giving a discount.
The coupon doesn't discount application fees. A coupon can be set up to skip application fees. When it is, Rhythm accepts the code, but the fee amount does not go down.
The coupon no longer exists. If the coupon behind the code has been deleted, Rhythm cannot price your order with that code.
Your order has nothing the coupon covers. A coupon only discounts application fee lines, so it does not affect other charges in the same order.
The code isn't valid yet. A code works only from its own start date onward. If you enter it before that date, Rhythm refuses it.
