- A Submit Nomination button, if the award accepts nominations and at least one nomination process is open to you right now.
- A Submit Application button, if the award accepts applications and at least one application process is open to you right now.
- Your own nominations for the award, if any, or a link to submit one.
- Your own applications for the award, if any, or a link to submit one.
Why You Might Not See a Way to Nominate or Apply
The Submit Nomination and Submit Application buttons appear only when Rhythm finds a process you can use right now. Rhythm checks that the process is active, today's date falls within its open and close dates, and you meet any eligibility criteria. For nominations, the award must also have nominations switched on. For applications, it must have applications switched on. Rhythm checks your eligibility as a contact, not as an organization you belong to.
If a process has no closing date, it keeps accepting submissions indefinitely. If a button you expected is not showing, check whether the process has an opening or closing date in the past. A date staff forgot about is a common reason a process stops appearing, and removing or updating that date typically brings the button back.
If you expected to see one of these buttons and do not, there is probably no process open to you for that award right now. That usually does not mean something is broken. Contact the association if you believe you should be able to take part.
