The Browse Awards page shows awards that are open for nominations or applications. There is no search box, so you find an award by browsing the award type headings.
When to Use This
Use this page to see which awards are open before you nominate someone or apply. When you are ready to continue, see Apply for an Award.
If you administer a microsite and want visitors to see available awards, choose one, and start an application, use this page as the entry point. A Submit Application page does not list awards or let visitors browse them; it only continues the application after someone has already picked an award here.
Browse Open Awards
- Go to the Portal menu AWARDS › Browse Awards.
- Look under each award type heading for the awards listed there.
- Select an award’s name to open it.
Result
Rhythm groups each open award under its award type. An award appears here when the organization has made it visible in the Portal and today is within the date window set for it to show. If no awards are open right now, the page tells you.
Warning
This page checks only an initial batch of the organization’s awards before it decides which ones are open. If the organization has many awards, an award that is open might not appear in this list. If you expected to see a specific award and do not, check directly with the organization instead of assuming the award is closed.
Tip
This page does not have a search or filter box, so you browse by award type heading only. If the organization set this page to show only certain award types, awards from other types will not appear here, even when they are open.
Award types appear in the order the organization set, then alphabetically within that order. If the organization marked an award type inactive, that type can still appear here and list its open awards because this page does not hide it.
If you administer Awards and want related award types to appear together on this page, name them with a shared prefix, such as Scholarship, Grant, or Award. This can make them sort next to each other alphabetically, but it only approximates grouping through the sort order; it does not create a separate section heading above the award type headings.
