  • Application Fees

Create the fee an award's applicants pay to apply, set its price and other product settings, arrange the order fees are listed in, and turn one off or delete it.

  • Application Processes

Define the ways people can apply for an award — who may apply, which form they use, when it is open, and whether it requires a fee or references — and control their order, activation, and deletion.

  • Application Status Reasons

Create your account's own explanations for an application's status, such as why one was declined or approved, and understand why an in-use reason can't be deleted.

  • Turn On Award Features and Control Portal Visibility

Switch nominations, applications, recipient categories, and reviews on or off for an award, and decide whether and when members see it listed in the Portal.

  • The Award Submission Portal Feature

Turning on Award Submission adds ten ready-made member-facing pages to your Portal for browsing, applying, nominating, and giving references, and every one of them requires the member to be signed in.

  • Award Types

Group your awards under types such as Scholarships or Achievement Awards, control the order they appear in, and understand why a type in use behaves differently from one you can freely delete.

  • Awards Blocks in the Portal Page Designer

The Awards blocks available when you build Portal pages, what each one shows, which of their settings actually change anything, and why a block usually shows an award, application, or nomination based on the page's own address rather than a setting.

  • Awards Payment Settings

Set up the one account-wide record that decides which business unit, merchant account, and bank account application payments go to, which payment methods applicants can use, and whether a donation is offered at checkout.

  • Awards Staff Permissions and Policies

The three ready-made policies you can give Awards staff, what each one lets them do, and where a few Awards screens don't check the permission you might expect.

  • Clone an Award

Start next year's award from this year's by copying its settings, processes, fees, and recipient categories under a new identifier, name, and date.

  • Coupon Codes

Create the codes applicants type in to redeem a coupon's discount, and see, open, edit, or delete a coupon's codes without leaving Awards setup.

  • Coupons

Create a coupon that discounts application fees by a fixed amount or a percentage, cap the total discount, limit it to certain awards or award types, and control how it shows on the order.

  • Create or Edit an Award

Set up a new award or change an existing one — its name, type, date, application limit, page layouts, custom fields, and Portal visibility — and understand what stops an award from being saved.

  • Delete an Award

What happens to an award's other records when you delete it, why the delete is sometimes refused, and why you may need to wait before reusing its identifier.

  • Find and Open Awards in the Console

Search for an award by name, type, or identifier, understand where you land when you open one, and read the checklist an award's own Setup page shows you.

  • Nomination Process Emails

Write and preview the confirmation email sent to a nominator and the notification email sent to a nominee, and understand when the nominee email is required and what happens if one can't be sent.

  • Nomination Processes

How to set up a nomination process for an award — who can be nominated, how nominators choose a nominee, the nomination form, opening and closing dates, and the nominee notification email — plus reordering, editing, and why some processes cannot be deleted.

  • Recipient Categories

How to create, rename, reorder, and delete the named tiers inside one award — such as Gold or Four Year Winner — and why a category or its award cannot always be deleted.

  • Reference Processes and Their Emails

How to set up, per award, the form a referee fills in and the two emails Rhythm can send around it — the referee invitation and the applicant notice — plus ordering, previewing, and deleting a reference process.

  • Reference Types

How to define, rename, and delete the named kinds of reference your organization can require on an application — such as Academic or Professional — and why a type still in use cannot be deleted.

  • Awards Setup Overview and Console Navigation

What the Awards setup checklist tracks, how to open the dashboard builder from the Awards overview, and why an Awards menu entry can be missing or unopenable for a particular staff member.

  • Turn On Reviews for an Award

What turning reviews on adds to an award's Console pages, where its review setup items and checklist live, and how to reach custom field administration for reviews.
