After you apply for an award, you can come back anytime to check its status, review your answers, and update your submission when the award process allows changes before the deadline.
When to Use This
Use this page when you want to check an application you submitted, review your answers, or make a change before the update deadline passes. You can see and manage only your own applications, not applications someone else submitted, even for the same award.
Prerequisites
- You are signed in to the Portal with a linked contact record.
- You have already submitted at least one application.
See All Your Applications
- From the Portal menu, go to AWARDS › My Award Applications.
- Rhythm lists every application you have made across all awards, newest first, with its Date, Award, and Status.
- Select the Date to open an application, or select the Award name to open that award’s page.
Result
You see a table of your applications. If you have not applied for anything yet, Rhythm tells you that you have no award applications.
Warning
This list shows at most 100 applications, and you cannot see more from this page. If you have applied to many awards over time, some older or newer applications may not appear here.
Warning
This list includes only applications you submitted as yourself. If you applied on behalf of an organization, that application does not appear in My Award Applications for you to review or edit in a later round; it is on the organization’s own record instead.
Tip
A saved draft application does not appear in My Award Applications, and you cannot search for or list your draft applications from the Portal. To continue a draft, return to the award and select Submit Application again; Rhythm resumes your draft instead of starting a new one.
See Your Applications for One Award
Open the award’s page from Browse Awards, then look for the My Applications section. This section lists only your applications for that award, up to 10 applications. If you have not applied yet and are still eligible, it also shows Submit one now. as a shortcut to start the application.
Review One Application
Select an application’s date from either list to open it. Rhythm shows the applicant’s name, the application’s Status, its Date, and any custom answers you provided. It does not show the status reason, referees, or order information for the application. Each custom answer appears under that field’s label, not the prompt you saw while completing the form, so the wording here can look slightly different from what you originally answered.
The statuses you may see are Complete, Missing References, Approved, Declined, and Withdrawn.
Update an Application Before the Deadline
- Open the application from either list.
- If the process still allows changes and today is before its update deadline, select Update My Application.
- Make your changes on the update form, which may ask different or fewer questions than the original application.
- Submit the form.
Result
Rhythm saves your changes to the application. Updating an application changes only the answers you gave; it does not reset the status, send a new confirmation email, or invite your referees again.
Tip
The Update My Application button checks your device’s clock against the process deadline. If your device’s clock is wrong, the button may appear or disappear at the wrong time relative to the actual deadline.
If You Can't Update Your Application
The Update My Application button appears only when the process you applied through allows updates and today is before the deadline. If you do not see it, the process does not offer updates or the deadline has passed. You cannot request an exception from this page, so contact the association if you believe your application should still be open for changes.
