If your association gave you a coupon code, or your organization has one, you can find it on the Portal’s My Coupon Codes page. Use this page to check the code’s details and review how it has been used.
When to Use This
Use this page when you need to look up a coupon code, confirm what it discounts, or review who has used it. To use a code on a new order, enter it during checkout; see Complete a Purchase in a Store. To apply a code to an order you already placed, see View, Pay, and Apply a Coupon to Your Orders in the Portal.
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in with a linked contact record.
- Coupon codes must be turned on in the Portal for your Rhythm account.
View Your Coupon Codes
- Go to FINANCIALS › My Coupon Codes.
- Review the My Coupon Codes list to see each code’s Code, Coupon, Name/Description, and Type.
- If you belong to an organization and your role allows it, review the My Organization's Coupon Codes list the same way.
- Select a Code link to open that code’s details.
Result
You see every active code you personally own. If your role allows it, you also see every active code your organization owns.
Tip
Only active codes appear here. A deactivated code does not appear in either list, even when it has not expired.
View One Code's Details and Usage
- From My Coupon Codes, select the code’s Code link.
- Review its Name, Code, Type, and, if the code came from an order, the Order link.
- Check Valid From to see when the code works, and check Usage Limits to see how many times it can be used.
- Review the Coupon Code Usages table to see the date, who used the code, the order, the discount, and the order’s total.
Result
You see how that code is set up and how it has been used, with one row for each use.
Warning
If your organization shares a code, the usage list can show other members of your organization who used it, not just you.
This page does not have a single field that tells you whether a code’s usage limit has been fully used, or how many times it has been used overall. Count the rows in the Coupon Code Usages table, or ask staff to check with an Orders & Inventory Coupon Code Usages query. That query returns one row per use with the discount amount, which is the same detail shown here.
If staff compare this usage count against a payments report, the totals can look different. The usage count includes every transaction the code applied to, while a payments report only includes transactions that produced a payment record. A code that discounts an order down to nothing still counts as a use here, even though it created no payment for a payments report to pick up.
Limits and Exceptions
- You can only see codes you own, or your organization's codes when your role allows it. If you try to view a code that belongs to someone else, Rhythm does not show it.
- A code with no owner has no usage history available here.
- You cannot browse or discover other coupon codes by typing. When you register yourself through the Portal, you do not see a list of matching codes to choose from; you need to already know your code. In a staff-assisted registration, an administrator using the Console may see matching codes appear while typing.
