Opening a job board result shows that posting’s details in the job board’s design.
Open a Posting
- From the job board search results, select the posting you want to view.
Result
The posting entry opens in place of the search results.
What an Entry Shows
Unless your association built a custom layout for this job board, the entry uses Rhythm’s ready-made layout, which can include:
- The job’s name
- The employer’s name
- The location, including city, state, and postal code
- A Learn More link, when the posting has one
- The post date and, when the posting has one, the expiration line
- The posting’s identifier and internal reference code
The entry shows only the information the job board is set up to publish. Your association can also add other details about the posting, the employer contact, or the organization, depending on how it configured the board.
Applying Online
If the job board accepts online applications and this posting has an application address on file, Apply to Job appears on the entry. Select Apply to Job to start your application, including choosing a resume to send. If you do not see Apply to Job, this job board or this posting is not set up to accept online applications, so look for another way to apply, such as contact information on the posting itself.
Sending a Message
An entry may let you write to the posting’s employer contact without seeing their email address. Your message goes to that contact automatically, so you do not choose the recipient yourself.
If an Entry Will Not Open
If Rhythm cannot find the posting or the job board, you see a message that the page could not be loaded. Go back to your search results and try another posting, or contact your association if the problem continues.
