Buying a Career Center package does not update an employer’s available job postings or resume bank access as soon as checkout finishes. Rhythm updates those automatically a little later, after the order is reported as fulfilled, just like any other order in your account.
Which Organization Is Credited
Rhythm credits the organization the order was shipped to. If the order does not have a ship-to organization, Rhythm credits the bill-to organization instead. There is no other fallback: an order for an individual contact with no organization is not fulfilled for Career Center purposes, and a fulfilled order with no organization is dropped without crediting anything.
Every package line on one order credits the same organization. Lines on a single order cannot be split across different organizations.
If the credited organization has never bought a Career Center package before, Rhythm creates its employer profile the first time it is credited. That profile holds the organization’s available postings and resume bank access.
What Gets Credited
For each package line on the order:
- The number of job postings the package grants is credited once for every unit bought. Buying three units of a package that grants two postings each credits six postings.
- Resume bank access is different: buying more than one of the same package does not multiply the days. Rhythm grants the package’s access once, no matter how many units were purchased.
- If the organization has never had access to a bank the package grants, access starts today and runs for the number of days the package specifies. A bank entry with no number of days is still granted, but it shows as already ended today.
- If the organization already has access to that bank, the new access extends from the date the existing access currently ends instead of starting over today. If that access has already lapsed, the extension still starts from the old end date, which can leave the new end date already in the past.
Tip
Rhythm reads the package as it exists when the order is fulfilled, not as it existed when it was sold. If someone edits a package’s postings or resume bank access between purchase and fulfillment, Rhythm credits the package’s current settings.
If Rhythm cannot read any package on the order, the entire order’s fulfillment is blocked instead of being credited in part.
What This Looks Like Afterward
After Rhythm credits a package line, it marks the line complete so your account’s order records show it as fulfilled. The employer’s new balance and any resume bank access appear on its organization record; see View and Correct an Employer's Job Posting Balance for where to check it.
Example
An employer with no existing employer profile buys two units of a package that grants three job postings each and 30 days of access to one resume bank. After the order is fulfilled, Rhythm creates the organization’s employer profile with 6 available job postings, and access to that resume bank starts today and runs for 30 days. It does not run for 60 days, because the days a package grants are not multiplied by quantity.
