You open Sponsorship & Benefits › Reports and see a blank page, or the Sponsorships by Type chart on the Sponsorships landing page always shows the same numbers. Both are expected today, and this article explains where to find the sponsorship figures you need instead.
Scope
This article applies to the Reports page and the Sponsorships by Type chart on the Sponsorships landing page for accounts that use the earlier, tile-based landing page. It does not apply to the totals on that same landing page for sponsorships sold, amount, and applications under review, which are real figures from your account's own records.
Likely Causes
1. The Reports Page No Longer Contains a Report Tool
Why this happens. The Reports page under Sponsorship & Benefits used to include a report-building tool. That tool has been removed, and nothing replaced it on this page, so the page now opens blank with no heading or message.
Check. If you can open the page and you do not see an access-denied message, a blank page means this is the cause. It is not a loading problem or a permission issue.
Fix. Use the Sponsorships Query Center for real sponsorship figures. It gives you ready-made starting points, and you can also build your own query. See Design and Run a Query for how queries work in Rhythm. The figure tiles on the Sponsorships landing page also show running totals without requiring you to build anything.
2. The Sponsorships by Type Chart Is Not Connected to Your Data
Why this happens. On the older, tile-based Sponsorships landing page, the pie chart titled Sponsorships by Type always shows the same two figures for every account. It was never connected to real sponsorship data, so selling a sponsorship does not change the chart.
Check. If the chart keeps showing the same two categories and numbers no matter what you have sold, this is the cause.
Fix. Do not use this chart for reporting. Use the figure tiles above it on the same landing page for real totals, or run a query when you need a breakdown by type. See Design and Run a Query.
When to Contact Support
Contact Support if the Reports page shows an access-denied message instead of a blank page, because that points to a permissions question rather than the missing report tool. You should also contact Support if a figure tile elsewhere on the landing page, not the Sponsorships by Type chart, shows numbers that look wrong. Include a screenshot of what you see and, for a wrong-looking tile, the number you expected.
