The Overview page is the first page you see when you open the Sponsorship Console. Use it to check how your programme is doing without building a report.
What You See
- Go to Sponsorship & Benefits › Overview.
What you see depends on how your Rhythm account is set up:
- A configurable dashboard. Some accounts show a fuller dashboard that you can customize. Your account's reporting configuration controls what appears there and whether you can rearrange it.
- Three standard figures. Most accounts show three tiles: sponsorships from the last 12 months, the total amount of those sponsorships, and applications waiting for review.
Warning
Accounts that show the standard figures also show a Sponsorships by Type chart. This chart does not yet use your account's real sponsorship data, so treat it as a placeholder rather than an accurate breakdown.
When nothing is owed on a sponsorship, its balance due can show as a dash (-), which means 0.00. In some cases, the balance due can show as 0 or blank on an overview or on the Sponsorships tab of a 360 page, even when the invoice, order, or Sponsorship 360 shows an outstanding amount. This is more likely when invoicing was deferred. If a balance you expect does not appear here, check the sponsorship's 360 page, order, or invoice for the accurate amount.
Refresh a Total
The figures on this page are saved values, not live counts, so they can be up to a day old.
- Find the figure you want to check.
- Select the recalculate icon next to its label.
Result
The figure reloads with a freshly calculated value.
Tip
You can recalculate a figure as often as you need. If you are not sure the first refresh included a recent change, refresh the total again.
Tip
If a sponsorship's amount looks different in the Sponsorship 360 or in a query than it does on its invoice, and you cannot tell why, open the sponsorship, edit it, and save it again. Saving it again, even without changing the amount, can correct what the 360 page and query show.
Open the Records Behind a Total
- Select the figure itself, rather than its label or the recalculate icon.
Result
Rhythm opens the Query Center with a query already queued for the figure you selected, so you can review the individual records behind the total. You need access to the Query Center to open it this way.
Warning
The applications total and the list behind it can differ slightly because Rhythm does not always count the figure and the opened list the same way. If the number of applications in the list does not exactly match the figure, this is expected. Use the list as the accurate, current view.
Move to Another Sponsorships Section
Use the left menu to move between Overview and the other Sponsorships sections, such as Applications, Opportunities, and Sponsorships. The menu shows every section, even if you do not have access to all of them. If you select a section and cannot open it, ask your administrator for access.
