The Applications overview is where you search for sponsorship applications, check how many need review, and open an application to see its full details. This article explains how to find applications from that page and from a sponsor organization’s record.
When to Use This
Use the Applications overview when you need to find a specific application, check how many applications need review, or browse recently submitted applications. If you already know the sponsor organization, it is usually faster to open that organization’s record instead of searching.
Prerequisites
You need permission to view the Applications section. If you do not have it, Rhythm shows an "Access Denied" message and prevents you from opening the page. Ask your Sponsorship administrator to grant access.
Search from the Applications Overview
- Go to Sponsorship & Benefits › Applications.
- At the top of the page, two figures summarize recent activity. One counts applications from the last 30 days, and the other counts applications currently waiting for review. Selecting either figure opens its underlying query.
- Below the figures, use the search fields: Under Review? (Yes or No), a Date: range, and ID: (the application's internal record identifier, not its display number). A Number: field is also available, but it is not a reliable way to find an application by its display number. If a number search does not return what you expect, use the date or under-review filters instead.
- Select Search.
- In the results, select the Date link on any row to open that application's full detail page.
Result
The results list shows each matching application's date, sponsor, and contact, with a link to open its full details. Rhythm remembers your search criteria the next time you return to this page in the same browser.
Tip
The "last 30 days" figure at the top of the page counts only applications that are not currently under review. When you select that figure, the list it opens shows every application from those 30 days, including applications still under review. That means the number and the list can differ because they count different things.
Find Applications Waiting for Review
Set Under Review? to Yes to find every application with at least one requested opportunity still waiting for a decision. This is the fastest way to create a review queue. An application shows as under review as soon as any one of its requested opportunities is under review. See How Application Review Status Works for how that flag is calculated.
See All of One Sponsor's Applications
The Applications search form does not include a sponsor search field. To see every application from one sponsor organization, open that organization’s record instead. Its record page includes an Applications section with every application the organization has submitted, along with a count. If the organization has more applications than fit on one page, only the first page loads there, so a high-volume sponsor may not show its full application history at a glance.
See Find, View, and Pick an Organization for how to look up the sponsor organization first, then open its Applications section from the organization record.
Open an Application's Full Details
Selecting an application from any search result, or from a sponsor's organization record, opens Application 360. This page shows everything about that application: the sponsor, the order behind it when there is one, each requested opportunity with its quantity, chosen benefits, and review status, any sponsorships already produced from it, custom field values, and notes.
If Application 360 cannot load the application, its organization, its order, or even one of its requested opportunities, the whole page shows an error instead of a partial view. This can happen when one of those related records, most often a requested opportunity, has since been deleted.
