Once the visiting team completes its evaluations, you can review them from the visit or from a team member’s contact record. This article explains both options. To correct, delete, or manually enter an evaluation, see Submit, Correct, or Delete an Evaluation as Staff.

What This Does and When to Use It

Use the visit’s Evaluations tab when you want to review everything recorded for that visit’s team in one place. Use a person’s contact record when you want to see their evaluation history across every visit they have worked, whether they gave or received the evaluation.

Prerequisites

  • You need access to Site Visits to open a visit’s page. You do not need a separate evaluations permission to view either tab.

Review a Visit's Evaluations

  1. Go to Site Visits, then open the visit.
  2. Select the Evaluations tab.

Result

The list shows every evaluation recorded for the visit, including who evaluated whom, the date, the score, and the recommendation.

Reading the Recommendation at a Glance

The recommendation uses thumbs icons with the recommendation word: two thumbs down for Definitely Not, one thumb down for No, one thumb up for Yes, and two thumbs up for Strong Yes.

Why the Evaluations Tab Might Show Nothing

Warning

If evaluations are turned off for the visit in the Portal, the Evaluations tab shows only a message that evaluations are not enabled for that visit. This is true even when evaluations were recorded earlier while the setting was on. The tab label can still show a count, but the list stays empty until you turn evaluations back on for the visit.

Select either name in a row to open that person’s contact record, where you can review their evaluations across every visit. This opens the same Evaluations tab that belongs to that person's accreditation information on their contact record, so it is where their submitted evaluations appear.

Review One Person's Evaluations

  1. Open the person's contact record.
  2. Select the Evaluations tab.
  3. Use the switch to choose Both, Giving Evaluation, or Being Evaluated.

Result

The list shows the evaluations the person gave, received, or both, across every visit and program, oldest first. Each row shows both people’s names, the date, and the score, but it does not show the visit, the program, or the recommendation.

Tip

This tab is the only place to see a person’s full evaluation history across programs. The visit’s Evaluations tab only shows evaluations for that one visit.

This tab lists individual evaluations only. It does not include an aggregated or overall score, ranking, or summary across a person's evaluations. To assess how someone has generally performed across visits, review the individual rows.

If two contact records are merged, the resulting contact keeps the visit associations from both original contacts, so the combined evaluation history stays with the surviving record.

Limitations

  • Both tabs show only the first page of evaluations, so a visit or person with a very large number of evaluations will not show everything on this page.
  • The recommendation display can fail to show correctly when an evaluation was saved with no recommendation.
  • The person’s Evaluations tab shows evaluations from every program, with no way to filter to one program.
