Before you correct a count, order more stock, or ship an item, check what you already have. Rhythm’s Inventory overview shows every stock record you hold, and each item’s Product Inventory 360 page shows how its stock has changed over time.

When to Use This

Use the overview to browse or search stock across items and locations. Use an item’s Product Inventory 360 page when you already know which item you need to review and want its counts, settings, and movement history. To act on what you find, see Adjust and Transfer Stock or Order and Receive Stock.

Prerequisites

  • You need permission to view stock records. If you do not have it, the overview and item pages show an Access Denied message instead of opening.

Browse All Your Stock

  1. Go to Orders & Inventory › Inventory.
  2. Review the four headline figures at the top: Products, Items On Order, Total Inventory Value, and Alerts.
  3. If any items have passed their reorder point, review them in the Inventory Alerts list above the table.
  4. Use the search box above the table to show only items whose name contains what you type.
  5. Select any column header in the Inventory at a Glance table to sort by that column.
  6. Select an item’s name in the Product column to open its Product Inventory 360 page.

Result

The table shows every stock record you hold, including its warehouse or bin, on hand, committed, available, backorder, on order, and reserved counts. It also shows a green or red status to show whether that stock record has reached its reorder point.

Tip

The overview loads the full list once when you open it. If a colleague changes a count elsewhere while you have the page open, reload the page to see the updated count.

Review One Item's Stock and History

  1. From the overview, select the item’s name in the Product column, or search for it and open it from elsewhere in Orders & Inventory.
  2. On the Product Inventory 360 page, review the on-hand count at the top, along with the Available, Committed, On Order, Backordered, Reserved, and Defective tiles.
  3. Open the Transactions tab to see the movements recorded against this stock record, with the newest movement first. Each transaction shows the date, type, related order when there is one, quantity, quantity received, and unit cost. Unit cost appears only on the Product Inventory 360 page’s Transactions tab. It does not appear on the Inventory overview, and you cannot query it from that overview. Unit cost belongs to each transaction rather than the item as a single stable value, because it can differ from one purchase order to another.
  4. Open the Other Information tab to see the record’s reorder point and expected replenishment date.

Result

You see the full count breakdown for that item at that location, along with the movement history that produced it.

Warning

A transfer’s arriving stock is recorded against the stock record it left, not the one it arrived at. If you review the receiving location’s history, an incoming transfer will not appear there, even though its counts changed.

Limits and Exceptions

  • A stock record is specific to one item at one warehouse or bin (and, for items tracked that way, one SKU). To see the same item across every location where it is stocked, use its Product Inventory 360 page, and remember that each stock record’s counts are for one location only.
  • Some stock records use one SKU per item, others do not. The way the item is tracked determines whether Rhythm splits its stock records by SKU.
  • The Transactions tab shows only its own view; movements do not show notes, even when someone recorded a note with the movement.
  • Searching, sorting, and filtering the overview happen only within what is already loaded. They do not refresh the page or run a new search.

What to Do If You Cannot Find What You Expect

If a stock record you expect is missing, confirm that inventory tracking is turned on for the item. Items without inventory tracking have no stock records. If you cannot open the overview or an item’s page, ask your Commerce administrator to confirm that you have permission to view stock records.
