The billing overview helps you find a billing run that you or a colleague set up earlier. Use it to review a run, make changes, or confirm that it ran. To work with a run after you open it, see Review, Refresh, and Manage a Billing Run.
What This Does and When to Use It
Use the billing overview search when you know something about the run, such as its name, run date, status, or identifier, but do not have a direct link. Use the recently viewed panel when you want to return to a run you just opened without searching again.
Prerequisites
- You need administrator-level access to Billing to open the billing overview.
Search for a Billing Run
- Go to Accreditations › Billing.
- Enter any combination of criteria: Name:, Run Date:, Status:, and ID:.
- Select Search.
Result
A results table shows the matching runs. Select a run’s name to open its page.
The Operations Filter Does Not Apply Here
The search form includes an Operations: filter, but those choices are for a different kind of billing run. If you choose anything in that filter, the search finds no Accreditation billing runs, so leave it unchanged.
Tip
Your last search criteria are remembered in this browser, so the billing overview opens with the same criteria when you return later.
Reopen a Recently Viewed Run
- Go to Accreditations › Billing without running a search.
- In the Recently Viewed Billing Runs panel, use the filter box if needed, then select the run.
Result
The run’s page opens.
The recently viewed panel lists runs that you personally opened in this browser. It stays empty until you have opened at least one run.
Sorting and Filtering the Results
After you have results, select a column heading to sort by that column. Run Date: searches only the date when a run actually executed, so a prepared run that has not executed yet will not appear in a run-date search, even if the results table shows a scheduled date. ID: accepts multiple identifiers at once, separated by commas or new lines, which is useful when you need to check a batch of runs you already know by ID.
Limitations
Only the first page of matching runs is shown. If your account has a very large number of billing runs, a broad search may match more runs than the page can show. When that happens, a warning appears above the results. If a search returns nothing, the results area says so instead of showing an empty table.
