Your organization's sponsor contacts can view every sponsorship your organization holds without asking staff for a list. This article explains the Portal pages that show your sponsorships. Staff can search for, create, update, or delete the sponsorship record itself.
What This Does
Two Portal pages work together to show your sponsorships:
- The list page shows every sponsorship your organization holds, newest first, with its date, opportunity, and amount.
- The detail page shows one sponsorship’s order, event when it has one, opportunity and quantity, sponsor organization, amount, and included benefits.
Your organization’s administrator adds these pages to your Portal, so the exact link depends on your setup. If you cannot find the pages, ask your organization’s Rhythm administrator for the link.
Prerequisites
- You must be signed in to the Portal.
- Your contact must be linked to an organization. If your contact is not linked to one, the sponsorships list keeps loading and never finishes.
- Your contact’s role must be allowed to view sponsorships. Your organization’s Rhythm administrator controls this by contact role; see Who Can View and Buy Sponsorships in the Portal.
See Your Organization's Sponsorships
- Open the Portal page your organization uses for sponsorships. It is often labeled something like "My Sponsorships" or "Sponsorships Overview"; ask your administrator if you are not sure where to find it.
- Review the table. Each row shows the sponsorship’s Date, Opportunity, and Amount.
- Select Order Sponsorship if you want to buy another sponsorship. This opens the purchase page in the Portal.
- Select the opportunity name in any row to open that sponsorship’s details.
Result
The table shows up to 100 of your organization’s sponsorships, with the newest sponsorships first. If your organization has no sponsorships yet, the page says "No sponsorships are linked to your organization," and the Order Sponsorship button is still available.
Tip
The list and the sponsorship detail page can format amounts differently. If your organization pays in a currency other than US dollars, check the sponsorship detail page or your order for the exact amount and currency.
View One Sponsorship's Details
- From the list, select the opportunity name for the sponsorship you want to review.
- Review the sponsorship’s date, order, event if it is linked to one, opportunity and quantity, sponsor organization, and amount.
- Review the Benefits list, if the sponsorship includes any. Each line shows the benefit’s name and how many you received.
- Select the order link, if one appears, to open that order.
- Select View all Sponsorships to return to the list.
Result
The detail page shows each field that has data. Fields such as Order: and Event: appear only when the sponsorship has an order or event to show.
The benefits list on this page does not show whether a benefit has expired or when it expires. If you need to know whether a benefit is still active, contact your organization’s administrator or Rhythm Support.
Limitations
- You cannot search, create, edit, or delete sponsorships in the Portal. Only staff using Rhythm can do this; ask your organization’s primary contact to reach out to the association if a sponsorship record needs a correction.
- The list shows only the first page of sponsorships, up to 100. If your organization holds more than that, contact the association for a complete list.
- These Portal pages do not show custom fields, staff notes, or detailed order figures that staff record on a sponsorship.
If Something Looks Wrong
- The page never finishes loading. This usually means your contact is not linked to an organization in Rhythm. Contact your organization’s primary contact or the association to have your contact linked.
- You see a message that the sponsorships could not be loaded. Reload the page. If the problem continues, contact the association.
- A sponsorship you expect to see is missing, or you cannot see this page at all. Your contact role may not have permission to view sponsorships. Ask your organization’s administrator to check your contact role’s permissions.
