Two query types in the Membership Query Center show the dues your chapters and sections currently charge: Chapter Dues Products and Section Dues Products. Use the chapter query when you also need to see where dues revenue is booked, because the section query does not include financial-configuration columns. This article covers both query types; for help building, saving, and exporting queries, see Design and Run a Query.

Where to Find It

In the Membership & Committees Console, go to Queries, select New Query, and choose Chapter Dues Products or Section Dues Products from the Chapters or Sections category.

The Two Query Types

Query type Category Lists Can show revenue booking
Chapter Dues Products Chapters One row for each chapter dues product, including its price and member price Yes
Section Dues Products Sections One row for each section dues product, including its price and member price No

Both query types show each product’s name, price, and member price by default, sorted by name. Choose Chapter Dues Products when you need the product’s financial configuration, including the account where a chapter’s dues revenue is booked. The chapter query includes output fields for the AR G/L account code and name used for that booking. Section Dues Products does not include financial-configuration columns.

Dependencies and Precedence

  • A chapter or section dues product appears in these queries only after it has been created. For setup details, see Chapter Dues Products and Chapters, Sections, and Add-Ons.
  • Conditions, columns, running, saving, and exporting work the same way as other Membership query types. For details, see Query Types and Field Selection.

Permissions

You need the same access to run these query types that you need for any other Membership query. If Queries does not appear in your left navigation, or one of these query types is not available, ask the person who manages security roles for your Rhythm account to update your access.
